ONE...TWO...THREE...

It's just me counting my blessings. One, Bubbie Channah is great and it has takkeh been a pleasure spending these ten days with her at her place.

Two, my brother Dovidle is here and what a special treat that is. Every year when he comes it's like recharging a battery. We fill up with love and memories and tales of today and dreams for tomorrow. Together. How wonderful that is!!!

Three, today is Friday and the weekend is here. Tomorrow Dovidle will be leaving for Boulder...and I will be moving back home...and Bubbie Channah will be left alone but hey, that only means we will be on a countdown, counting off the days until tfu tfu tfu Dovidle will be back again next year.

How lucky we are.

Shabbat shalom to you all.

Have a great day...stay safe...and thanks for dropping in.

You know, I think that we spend most of our lives moving from oasis to oasis in the wilderness of our lives.

And, each time that we find such place of joy and comfort, we thank God for it.

I think that's the reason why we must struggle so much - so that we can recognize the gift that these times are.

What cherished moments, building new cherished memories to add to all the old ones that come alive in the midst of the new ones. What a blessing for you and your family to be able to spend these precious times with one another. This is especially heart-warming for your sweet little mamma. I am blessed to hear of your reunion and loving interaction. Your family is truly blessed as many families I know cannot bear to be in the same room with each other, much less live together for 10 days!! This is a great testimony of the values your mother instilled in her children. What a woman! What a family!!!
Thanks for sharing your experiences with us. You're a great example for others to follow.
Love & prayers for your safety and safe travels for David as he travels back across the big pond. Hope he can find his house and car, buried in all that Colorado snow!!!
