IF YOU BUILD IT THEY WILL COME

Do you remember that movie with Kevin Costner about a guy who has a feeling he needs to cut down some of his corn field and build a baseball diamond? And all the old, long-gone baseball players show up to play ball? He kept hearing a voice saying, 'If you build it, he/they will come.'

Then I saw the movie SECRET...an awsome film about projecting what you want for yourself out into the cosmos and the more you see it and believe it the more it is going to come your way.

Both those ideas sat easily on my shoulders as I do believe in positive thinking. I do believe that it is better to see the glass half full.

So wanna know what I am projecting? ( Well after all the kids should be well and healthy and everyone should be fine and world peace...sigh )

I see myself in a beautiful garden with lovely flowers and green grass all around. And me sitting at a table with my laptop writing. The sun is shining but a lovely breeze is blowing and I'm on vacation someplace outside of Israel simply writing.

Isn't that nice?

Ok, I showed you mine, now you have to show me yours. You do, that's the rule :))).

Have a great day...stay safe...and thanks for dropping in.

I guess that aside from good health and happiness for all my friends and family, it's about some "me" time too.

Secret wish? Going to a piano bar for a night out, and ending up sitting on the piano bench alongside the entertainer, and belting out a song or two with him/her. Receiving a thunderous round of applause...and compliments after that.

Herzl: "If you will it, it is no dream." Halevai!

Oy,Marilyn, how much fun on a snowy Monday in February!

Thanks for letting me take a break!

Picture me sitting high above the world at 3500 ft. in the mountains of Brevard, North Carolina, on the western side of the state, surrounded by lush, tall trees heavily laden with leaves. I am looking out over the man-made lake, which is across the pasture from the main house. I also have my laptop and I'm working on my first novel. it's been a work in progress (in my mind's eye only) for the last 25 years. And you know what- I'm going write it- you betcha. But, I got to have the time to do it.

So there you have it.. my retirement plans in a nutshell in g-ds country where there is little pollution, a plethora of solitude and a state that is as pretty as some and more beautiful than others.

Simple living in a simply delicious spot.

Thanks for the opportunity to day dream for the moment and give a modicum of legitimacy to my dream!

Be safe and have a great week.

Ok here goes.I want everyone to believe in and find the love I have found in my Lord.everyone healthy happy and safe, from wacos and fruitcakes, wars and all evil.
I see myself living in a bigggggg log home out in the wilderness.with a bigggg lake outside my front door and wilderness all around.a nice dog laying on the porch, that goes all across the part of the house facing the lake.swings and rockers on that porch for friends to come and sit and visit with me.the land will be landscaped from nature and my self.rose gardens and flower gardens ponds with lilypads and frogs.a place where a big likenss of Jesus with the children in a little cove of trees will be seen from the house.flowers all around it.and a path to lead you to it.a gazbo near the lake that is screened in so I can have tea partys in with fancy finger sandwiches and sweets.the log home is all done in cabin decore and wellcoming and sunny.in side big fireplaces in the great room and all kinds of comfy chairs to set and enjoy the fireplaces in the great room.all the living area has to be all in one.so I can visit with the family and friends as I cook.lots of room for company to stay.a boat house with a guest rooms, and a pontoon to go on evening boat trips around the lake.and we can all watch the sun go down.Id love to have a welcoming spirit so that all who come to visit would leave feeling like family and feel loved.I would love to have people feel as if they have been in heaven for a while, and cant wait to be asked to come back for a visit.Id like to have a bed and breakfast.but cant run it alone.Id have my daughter help me with the cooking.and she does house cleaning so Id hire her full time.I would make the breafast things she could do the baking.I have always wanted to do it but feel maybe its too late.but that has always been my dream.Anna has said to she has always seen us three Lucy me and Anna having some kind of buisness.one day maybe.but the Log home will be one day.that I know.O yes my office has a big desk where I can write.it over looks the lake and the forest.and I can hear the birds sing and the ducks on the lake.and in the evening hear the loons call off in the distance.{the bird kind not the people kind HeeHee.}I can see the moon come up and it lights my desk.the smell of fresh pine comes in the window as I write.and the night air makes me sleepy.so I go off to my room and dream in my big white iron bed.with the big white comforters, and fluffy pillows.O ya I can get into this.hey Ill agree with you for yours and you with me and we will be seeing it alot sooner.but girl you have to get more in yours.leave it on my blog ok.God bless you friend.sorry so long but I been believing for this life for a long time so I know it by heart.have a great day.

Oh, I like your vision!
I have just won the lottery, and no longer have any financial worries. My biggest decisions are to decide where I want to travel next! I too would love to be on a beach with white sand with the beautiful, crystal clear, aqua colored, sparkling ocean with white waves crashing on the shore and gently, lazily rolling toward it's boundaries where it can go no further, then retreating back into the sea. The sun is bright and there is a grass-hut type umbrella to shade me and lots of palm trees along the coast behind me. I'm sipping mai-tais or wine coolers, enjoying the gentle breezes that caress my skin and cool me from the rays of the hot sun. Of course, this is the skinnier version of me, and I'm wearing the two-piece bathing suit I wore when I was 33 yrs. old!
Well, there's more, but that's enough for now.

Ah Marilyn- My book.. will be a compilation of laughs, love and interesting people that I have met throughout my life, as well as my take on this world from a humourous and not so humourous perspective. The names and places will be fictional but the characters will definitely be real people who has influenced my point of view.(sometimes warped! This has been a life goal of mine. The mountains are the right place to write it- it's just not time yet!
Be safe and have a wonderful day.
